Glasgow hinted at an improvement in Scottish form this season with a stylish 44-35 win at Cardiff in the Celtic League. It was Glasgow's first victory at the Arms Park - an excellent match, whose lead changed hands throughout the match.
The visitors were quick out of the traps with two superb tries, finished by Michael Bartlett and Donnie MacFadyen, before Cardiff looked like responding. But the hosts were level at half-time with tries from Ryan Powell and Matt Allen.
A brilliant score by Rhys Williams earned Cardiff a 27-20 lead after the break, but tries by Graeme Beveridge and Gordon Simpson and Calvin Howarth's kicking secured Glasgow the win.
