Stoke City have agreed to sign Wolves midfielder Seyi Olofinjana, according to the Championship club's manager, Mick McCarthy.
McCarthy said Stoke will pay £3m for the Nigeria international, who arrives at the Britannia Stadium on a four-year deal. "He's a Premier League player and if he gets the opportunity he'll go on," said McCarthy. "Everyone I've spoken to I've said 'take him' because if I was a Premier League manager I'd sign him. He's that good."
Olofinjana, 28, was signed by Wolves from Norwegian side Brann for £1.5m four years ago and plays as a defensive midfielder. "He'll probably be even better in the Premier League than he was in the Championship," McCarthy added.
