Milan playmaker Kaka has publicly declared that he has no intention of leaving the Serie A club for Chelsea. Kaka has been linked with an £80m move to the London club for several weeks, with some reports suggesting that Andriy Shevchenko's return to Milan this week was partly designed to smooth the way for the Brazilian to move in the opposite direction.

However, Kaka insists he has no intention of teaming up with his former Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and that he is committed to helping the Rossoneri achieve their twin goal of winning the Scudetto and the Uefa Cup this season. "Me going to Chelsea? I'm staying as a Rossoneri player," Kaka told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I should help Milan to win the trophies we're up for this season. The club have made some great signings and Sheva will fit in without any problems.

"I can't say [if I've been included in the Shevchenko deal], because if someone has promised me to [Chelsea owner Roman] Abramovich, it wasn't me. I've always said I'm happy at Milan and as long as my aims remain the same as Milan's I'll stay here. Until now it's always been that way. My goal is to win, Milan's is too. As long as we are like that, I'll remain at Milan."

The Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani denied a deal for Kaka had been mentioned during talks with the Blues over the return of Shevchenko. "In the issue of Shevchenko, Kaka was never, ever talked about and so the fans have to stay calm," Galliani told the club's official website. "We've been saying the same thing for two years."

Milan will complete the year-long loan signing of Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos pending the results of a medical undertaken at their Milanello training headquarters on Tuesday. The seven-time European champions have also announced the sale of striker Alberto Paloschi to Parma in a co-ownership agreement.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are edging ever closer to completing a deal to sign Kaka's Brazil team-mate Robinho. The Real Madrid forward is expected to sign this week for £28.6m.
