Tottenham left-back Lee Young-Pyo is to join Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, signing a one-year contract.

The South Korean international full-back played 93 times for the north London side following his move from PSV Eindhoven in August 2005. But Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has chosen to bring in Lee after regular left-back Dede was ruled out for six months with a knee ligament injury.

Today's news continues a summer clear-out at White Hart Lane that has seen Robbie Keane join Liverpool for £20.3m, Paul Robinson leave for Blackburn in a £3.5m deal, Anthony Gardner join Hull for £2.5m, Younes Kaboul move to Portsmouth, and Teemu Tainio, Steed Malbranque and Pascal Chimbonda all head to Sunderland.
