The architects in charge of developing Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium have released designs for the venue, claiming it perfectly encapsulates the "style and panache" of the north London club.
The 60,000-seater ground is part of a wider Northumberland Development Project that, should it receive planning approval, would keep Spurs in Tottenham.
"The stadium design concept aims to capture the essence of the Spurs identity, and the flowing lines of the aluminium shingle cladding, gracefully undulating roof profile and subtle use of club colours in the external materials choices evokes the Spurs tradition of doing things with style and panache," said the chairman of KSS, David Keirle.
"The seating will be much closer to the pitch than other stadia of comparable size, and the roof profile and enclosed corners will ensure that vocal support from the crowd is focused back into the bowl and on to the pitch. The under-slung roof structure designed by Buro Happold will support up to four giant screens in the corners to further enhance the fans' match-day experience."
Tottenham are scheduled to submit a formal planning application for the stadium next year.
