Carlo Ancelotti is unfazed by rumours that José Mourinho will return to English football, possibly at Stamford Bridge. "He'll have to wait because I'm now the manager and I am staying here," Ancelotti told Sky Sports. "As far as I'm concerned, Mourinho is coach of Internazionale so he is not my opponent."
Ancelotti said he could understand why Mourinho would want to return to "the best competition in the world". "It does not surprise me he wants to come back to England," he said. "He spent three years at Chelsea and he knows the English game and the environment here very well. The Premier League is the best competition in the world, so it is only natural any coach would want to work here."
The two managers will go head-to-head when Chelsea meet Inter in the last 16 of the Champions League at the end of February. "It was not a good draw for anyone and I would have preferred another opponent but I am ready to beat Inter and Mourinho," Ancelotti added.
"Chelsea have all the qualities to be a great side and satisfy the ambitions of the directors. They are just like the Milan team I had that won the Champions League."
