On the first anniversary of Venky's buying Rovers, Steve Kean faces another demonstration by seriously cheesed-off fans who will end their "week of mourning" by pitching up outside the DW Stadium to voice their disquiet. Only Wigan are below Rovers at the bottom with Roberto Martínez requiring victory as desperately as Kean. Each club's dismal record shows a sole win and only 11 goals scored between them from a combined 22 outings. Wigan's victory was on 27 August, Rovers' on 17 September. So far no Premier League manager has been sacked: defeat today could change that. Jamie Jackson
