Gareth Southgate has resigned as England manager after eight years in charge. “It has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England,” he said. “It has meant everything to me and I have given it my all. But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter.”
What do you think? It is time for a change or would you prefer to see Southgate stay as England manager for the next World Cup in 2026? Was his tenure a success? He led England to two major finals, but lost both of them. Would England do better with a different manager? If so, who would you pick to replace Southgate?
