Australia are closing in on more Olympic glory with several sports getting to the pointy end of their competition at Paris 2024, including Nia Jerwood and Conor Nicholas in the mixed dinghy medal race.

Diver Kurtis Mathews is into the men’s 3m springboard final, while in another busy day for athletics, Australia will be watching for Jessica Hull and Georgia Griffith to progress from their 1500m semi-finals.

Reigning Olympic silver medallists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar are one win away from a return to a beach volleyball final, with the Stingers in a water polo semi-final and men’s and women’s K4 kayak teams also at that same stage.

Australia is guaranteed two medals in boxing – and there are high hopes for the country’s first ever Olympic gold – with Charlie Senior and Caitlin Parker both in semi-finals.
