Fly-half Andy Goode has left Leicester after 10 years to join French club Brive for a reported fee of £150,000. The 28-year-old, capped nine times by England and top points scorer in the Premiership last season, joins fellow Englishmen Ben Cohen, Steve Thompson and Ben Johnston at the Top 14 team.
Goode has signed a two-year contract, with the option for an additional year. ''His arrival is very important for us. His CV speaks for itself. We needed someone who knows his position perfectly," said the Brive manager, Laurent Seigne. Brive finished 11th in the French Championship last season.
