Park Ji-sung says he has been motivated this season by the 'heartbreak' of having to watch last year's Champions League final from the stands. Having started 30 games for Manchester United this term, the South Korean has been assured by Sir Alex Ferguson that he will be in the squad against Barcelona.
"I used it as motivation. I believed United could get to the final again and I wanted to be there this time. I kept working hard and finally I have one more chance. Hopefully this time it is different to last season. If you have the chance and then cannot play, it is heartbreaking. I had that heartbreak, but our team is one that wins titles and I am happy to be part of that team," said the 28-year-old, who described missing out on last year's penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea as "the biggest disappointment in my career so far".
