Wilfried Zaha has denied criticising his treatment by Manchester United despite posting a picture on Instgram that appeared to aim a subtle dig at David Moyes.
The 21-year-old winger, who is currently on loan at Cardiff City, posted a picture of himself receiving advice from his new manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the caption: "Nothing like someone who believes in you."
After receiving online abuse from United fans Zaha defended himself by issuing an explanation, saying that he was praising Solskjaer rather than bemoaning Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Old Trafford.
"My picture actually meant ole solskjaer has a lot faith for me to do something for cardiff's current position," Zaha said. "My last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect at my manager, I have nothing but respect."
Zaha was signed by Ferguson from Crystal Palace for £12m in January 2013 but made only four appearances for United this season before joining Cardiff in January.
