England (4-2-3-1)

Jordan Pickford (GK) Almost caught dawdling in possession in the first half. Did not have to make a save. 6/10

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) Unrivalled vision and execution. Stunning passer. Made England’s opener and picked the lock for the second. 9

Ezri Konsa (CB) Limped off after appearing to twist an ankle in the second half. Accomplished before that blow. 7

John Stones (CB) Returned to the team and had a comfortable evening. Finland did not trouble their hosts. 7

Rico Lewis (LB) Relished opportunity to drift inside and link play. Smart and inventive. Made an important block. 8

Angel Gomes (CM) Nerveless on his first start. Asked for the ball and used it well. Retrieved possession. 7

Declan Rice (CM) Gave Topi Keskinen a chance after losing possession. Continued to operate as a No 8. 7

Bukayo Saka (RW) Beat the offside trap on several occasions. Unlucky not to score or earn an assist. 7

Jack Grealish (AM) Produced another encouraging display in the No 10 role. Involved in plenty of intricate moves. 7

Anthony Gordon (LW) Lively performance. Had the beating of his man but needs to work on final ball. 7

Harry Kane (ST) The captain smashed in two superb goals on his 100th cap. Hungry, dangerous and sharp. 8
